In this article, you will learn about the Workplace integration process to optimize communication in your company.

Workplace is a communication tool that connects your entire work team through groups, rooms, chats, and live video streaming. Now you can integrate it natively into the platform to optimize collaborative work and communication.
How to perform the integration?
Through Menu>Channels and Integrations>Channels and selecting the Workplace from Meta option (https://go.botmaker.com/#/integrations/channels/workplace), you will access the tutorial that will guide you through the integration by clicking on Connect.
Note: Remember that to perform the integration you must have an administrator profile on Workplace.
The following screen will be displayed. Click Start to launch the channel connection.
Step 1: Create a custom integration
To create a custom integration on Workplace, go to Admin Panel > Integrations and click Create Custom Integration. A pop-up will open where you will need to add a name and description.
Then click Create.

Step 2: Obtain your keys
After creating the integration, a screen will open where you will be able to edit more details about it.
On the same screen, you will find your App ID and App Secret for the application. You will be able to view them by clicking on the icon on the right.
Note: Be sure to copy and paste your ID and Secret Key into a notepad, as they will be required in the final step.
In Workplace, you will see the following:
Step 3: Create your access token
On the same Integration Details screen, you will need to create your Access ID (token).
To do so, click on the Create App ID/Token button.
A popup will open with a long code. You must click on the Copy button.
Note: Paste the token in a notepad, as it will be required in the final step. If you do not have it, you will have to generate a new token.
Next, accept the terms and conditions by checking the I understand box. Click on Done.
Step 4: Grant permissions
In the Permissions section from the sidebar options, you need to enable the following integration permissions:
Next, click on Save.
In Workplace, you will see the following:
Remember to click Save to record the authorization of the selected permissions.
Step 5: Activate webhooks
Continue in Integration Details and now go to Webhooks. Under Page, click on the pencil on the right to be able to edit.
Under Callback URL, paste the following URL:
Example: https://testuser.workplaces.center/rest/fbhook/1006
Under Verification ID, paste this code, for example, 8i7160oHVA0N13AA6Oor
Then check the following permissions:
Finish this process by clicking on Save.
Paso 6: Integra a Botmaker
In the platform integration tutorial, you need to paste the following data (which you have saved in the notepad):
Click +Connect Workplace to finish the integration.
Finally, in Menu>Integrations>Channels, clicking on Workplace, you will see the details of the connected account.
