How to perform the integration on the platform?

To perform the integration, log into the platform and go to Settings>Integrations (https://go.botmaker.com/#/integrations/connections). Select Google Analytics 4 and click on Connect.



Next, a tutorial will open to guide you through the connection process. Click on +Connect GA4 to start the integration.



Remember that before starting the Analytics integration in Botmaker, you must have a property created. To do so, go tohttps://analytics.google.com/analytics/web/provision/#/provision/createand follow the steps indicated for the creation of your property.


Step 1:

Go to https://analytics.google.com/ and select your property. Then go to Settings>Data streams



To add a data stream, choose the platform where the stream will be created (web, Android app, or iOS App) and complete the requested data. Then, click on Add stream.



Once the stream is created, you will get your measurementID (Measurement ID). Copy it into the platform tutorial and click Next.



Step 2:

Obtain the API secret for your data stream. In the data stream menu, you will see the Events. Select Measurement Protocol API Secrets



A new screen will open where you must read and accept the conditions for creating an API Secret.



Once the conditions are accepted, the system will guide you to create the stream nickname and will provide you with the secret value.

When you have obtained this data, copy it into the tutorial and click on Save Changes.

By clicking Finish, you will access the Google Analytics settings. You can review the integration settings or add a new integration, for example, with another property. Remember that, to access your business reports and metrics, you must previously install the Google tags using a website builder or manually by copying the provided tag into the code of each page of your website, right after the <head> element.
