Note: Article on intent creation is in the old bot creation format in Botmaker (Version 1.0). Today, the platform operates on Version 2.0.

To create a new topic (typically used to organize intents and segment them by themes), simply click on "New Topic" and then click on "+" within one of the created topics to create a new intent within the specific topic, as shown in the figure below.

To begin setting up the intent, follow this structure:

1. Define the Name of the intent.
2. Define the Trigger for that intent (this is the only definition that is not mandatory).
3. Finally, define the Response that you believe is most suitable for that intent.

Send emojis directly through Botmaker.

Now it's possible to send emojis directly through Botmaker.

To send them, access an intent and, in the responses tab, click on the available button within the text boxes.
