Encrypt from an intent chatbot

You can start encrypting from a specific intent and follow the same process when finishing. This feature is ideal when you want to encrypt using more than one setting to encrypt specific conversations or parts of a conversation.

Doing it is very easy. Follow the step-by-step below:

  • Step 1: On the configuration screen, make sure you do not select any default encryption or have more than one encryption option.

  • Step 2: In the intent you want to start encrypting, you must add the “encryption activated” action and choose the custom security configuration that you created previously.

  • Step 3: Click save. Whatever continues from that intent will be encrypted, following the custom settings you selected.

End encryption from intent

Just as to start encrypting from an intent, to finish encrypting you must add the action “encryption disabled” in the intent you want. Then, click save and you are all set!

Encrypt variables

You can encrypt specific variables from intents very easily. You just have to add the action "encrypt”, and place the variable you want.

Agent permissions for encryption

Assigning permissions to an agent is very easy. Follow the step-by-step below.

  • Step 1: Go to the screen “Roles” (Settings>Roles, https://go.botmaker.com/#/roles) and click on edit (if the agent you want to assign already exists on the platform) or on New role (+)

  • Step 2: In the pop-up window, go to the permissions part and then to settings. When you activate the configuration option, the different sections that you can select will be displayed. To assign encryption permissions, you must check the “security”.

  • Step 3: Click save and that's it.

If you want to remove an agent's permissions, you can also do so by deactivating the previously mentioned option there.

Use: This service has an additional cost.
