In this article, you will learn how to reset the user's password periodically. This time period is defined within the settings section.

To ensure greater security for users of Botmaker platform, you can configure the time after which users will need to reset their login password.

To do this, go to Configuration > Security:

You will have two options to set the password reset frequency for platform users:

• Never (Nunca): the password will not need to be changed.
• Reset periodically (Restablecer periodicamente): the password must be reset after the number of days defined within settings.

Note: This setting is only valid for users created on the platform via "email". It does not apply to Gmail, Facebook, or Microsoft accounts.

Once the password has expired, the user will need to generate a new password to be able to log back into the platform, as shown in the image below:

This additional setting will allow you to maintain security on the Botmaker platform and have better control of logins.
