What is Mailbots?
In this article you will learn about Mailbot, its scope and functionality within the platform.
Mailbot is a bot that enables automation of email responses and management of emails with human agents on the Botmaker platform.
Within Mailbots you can:
- Create email flows;
- Automate responses based on incoming email filters;
- Configure “Out of Office” flows;
- Manage a new independent channel within the platform.
Mailbots has a unique bot designer for this channel.
This designer is designed to meet the needs of the Mail channel, with actions, blocks and flows specific to emails.
To improve the live agent experience, Mailbot's conversation screen has a separate editor within the platform.
The editor has the elements of email: font selection, color, ability to send attachments and insert a personalized email signature.
Mailbots Highlights:
- You must have a professional email account. Free server mailboxes such as those ending in @gmail.com and @hotmail.com cannot be registered.
- When you create an email address, a unique mailbot is created for that email address. It allows you to design your own flow within the bot.
- Emails must always be sent from a received email. Mailbot is not designed for sending mass emails, but rather for managing email responses.
- Emails can be part of email chains/threads. Whenever an email is answered/forwarded, it will be added to the email chain.
