In this article you will learn about Mailbots filters and rules and how to use them
In the Mailbots designer you will find the “Filters and Rules” block.
When you click, the different configuration options are displayed.
Filter by date range:
Possibility to filter the date the email was received.
Filter by sender:
Possibility of filtering the sender's email or domain.
For example: You can filter test@botmaker.io or just @botmaker.io and all emails that include that domain will be filtered.
Filter by recipient:
Possibility of filtering recipient email or domain.
For example: You can filter test@botmaker.io or just @botmaker.io and all emails that include that domain will be filtered.
Filter by email subject:Possibility of filtering single words or a complete sentence from the subject of the received email.
Filter by email body
Possibility of filtering email content. This can be done in a generative or textual manner.
Generative:Give generative AI an instruction on what to filter. For example: Filter if the user is upset.
Textual:
Add any words or phrases that you detect need to be filtered. For example: Filter “I want a refund.”
Other filters:
Filter only emails with attachments: Only those that include attachments.
Filter only first email in chain: Only the first email in the chain/thread.
These filters are cumulative and if more than one is selected, it will only apply if all are met.
