How to view and manage consumption on the platform?

Through the Account section, you can monitor your consumption on the platform and, in this way, optimize your business resources.



The Botmaker platform allows for a visualization of all your accounts' consumption in real time to maintain greater control. Likewise, you can configure the services you wish to enable or disable according to the budget you define for your projects' operation.


Remember that an account can include several projects. Thus, all sections corresponding to Menu > Account refer to the account and not the project (which is the name you see at the top left, as shown below in the Profile details).

Below, we detail the options you can access from Menu > Account.

Profile

In this section you can see account information (Name, Tax ID, Business name, Address, City, Zip code, and Country) and you will be able to configure the currency format:



My Account

In this section you can see all consumption and movements of your account. As you consume the available credit, the blue bar will move for better visualization and expense control. When the bar reaches approximately 80%, the platform will attempt to generate a charge. If it is unable to do so, upon reaching 100%, the account is paused.


Likewise, from the Make a payment button (on the right of the screen), you can make a payment to increase your available credit.


The movements generated are shown in real time and you can download the PDF corresponding to invoices. Other types of movements you will see are: automatic debits, pre-paid balance loads, and transfers.



Products and Consumption

This section details the total for the current month and allows you to visualize the expenses made. Thus, it is possible to see the consumption you are making in each of the services activated on the Botmaker platform, in addition to enabling different products and features.


Additionally, this section shows the base plan from which additional plan charges begin to be made. In the event that there is no consumption of any kind during the month, you must pay the value of the base plan for the Botmaker account to remain active. The total for the current month is the sum of the base plan plus additionals. The billing closing date is also displayed on the right of the screen and you have the possibility to request a plan change. To do so, click on request plan change and an advisor will contact you for further details.


In the case of certain products, such as the language translator, webhooks, and sensitive data encryption, it is possible to access the configuration and disable them to prevent additional charges from being generated if you consider the service is not strictly necessary.


In this section you can also review consumption from previous months and visualize how much was spent each day in the consumption per day graph on the service's internal screen.

To access the details of other products, by clicking on each of them you can view the items consumed for that product, prices, and the consumption graph.


The expenses generated by each product result in the plan additionals.

Note: The consumption query has been enabled since February 1, 2022. Starting from the month of March, you will be able to consult said consumption, keeping in mind that consumption prior to February 1, 2022 will not be displayed. Additionally, remember that you can only access this consumption information with an Administrator profile.


Considerations regarding WhatsApp

WhatsApp is a product that does not follow the rule of other products, as it manages message costs by differentiating who initiates the conversation (whether it was initiated by the user or by the business). Thus, at the top of the screen, you can see the total cost, the cost per lines, the cost of business-initiated conversations (HSM), and the cost of user-initiated conversations (Sessions).


In case of having more than one line, the costs for each will be reflected. Additionally, it is possible to disable the lines you have configured according to your requirements or needs.



Payment Methods

In this section you can add one or more payment methods, which will be used to pay for products and consumption within the platform. Valid payment methods are bank accounts, credit cards, and debit cards.

You must mandatorily add a primary payment method, but we also recommend configuring an alternative method (secondary payment method) to prevent your access to the platform from being paused if there are issues with the primary method.



Budget Control

In this section you can configure a maximum budget amount for platform consumption according to your requirements. You can establish a daily amount and a monthly amount (which must be greater than the daily limit), using the dollar as a reference (the platform performs the conversion to Argentine pesos according to the official exchange rate).


In case of reaching the stipulated budget limit, access to the platform will be momentarily paused for the day or for the month, depending on what you have timely configured.


You will receive a notification email when 80% of any of these limits is reached, or when 100% is reached, so you can make the necessary adjustments for the account to remain active.
