How to create and connect my WhatsApp Business Platform account with Botmaker?

Steps to integrate with Botmaker:


1. In the left menu, go to Settings and then click on Channels:

In the WhatsApp option, click on Connect.

Click on +Add account and follow the steps that will appear on the screen:



To begin the setup, in the opened pop-up, follow the steps below:


  • Click on Log in with Facebook.
  • Sign in to your existing personal Facebook account.


  • Link to an existing Facebook business account or create a new business account. This account will be associated with your WhatsApp Business account.
  • Provide your legal business information.



  • Create or link a WhatsApp Business profile with your display name, category, and company description to share with your customers.



  • Create a new WhatsApp Business number that has not been used in WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business applications before. You will receive a verification code via text message or call to verify the phone number.



  • After entering the code, the process is complete! You can start sending messages to customers on the WhatsApp Business platform immediately.

After completing registration, your company can:


  • Respond to unlimited conversations initiated by customers within 24-hour messaging windows.
  • Send conversations initiated by the company to 250 unique customers within a continuous 24-hour period per phone number.
  • Register up to two phone numbers.

Company verification and display name analysis will no longer be necessary to start using the WhatsApp Business Platform. WhatsApp account verifications will be activated automatically and performed asynchronously.


With unlimited responses to customer-initiated conversations, your company can immediately address customer inquiries, such as recent orders or new products.


How to increase message limits


If you wish to increase message limits and phone numbers, you will need to complete company verification and display name analysis. Display name analysis for all phone numbers associated with your account will begin after completing the company verification process.


You should adhere to best practices for display names when adding a new phone number.

If you are an administrator of the Meta Business Manager account, you can initiate your company's verification by following these steps:


  • Access the Security Center section in your Business Manager.
  • In the Company Verification section, click on Start Verification.
  • Complete the company verification request according to the instructions. For more information on company verification, click here.


After completing company verification and display name analysis, your businesses will be able to:


  • Expand conversations initiated by the business to more customers:
  • Start with one thousand unique customers in 24 hours and increase to ten thousand, one hundred thousand, or unlimited per phone number.
  • Respond to unlimited conversations initiated by customers.
  • Request to become an Official Business Account (OBA).
  • Register additional phone numbers.


Note: The first thousand conversations your company has each month are free of WhatsApp fees. These conversations can be initiated by the user or initiated by the company. If the free limit of a thousand conversations per month is exceeded, a charge per conversation will apply.
