In this article you'll learn what the Botmaker 3.0 AI Assistant is, where to find it, and how to use it to create and adjust agents by chatting in natural language.
The AI Assistant is an assistant that lives inside the platform and lets you create and configure agents by chatting, in natural language. Instead of building the whole structure by hand, you explain in your own words what you need and it takes care of building it so you can review and adjust it afterward. You can also ask it to make changes to an agent you already have, without going through the entire configuration.
You can:
AI Assistant: conversational assistant integrated into the platform that builds and modifies agents based on natural language instructions.
Agent: conversational structure that serves your customers according to the instructions and purpose you define.
Orchestrator: component that coordinates and routes the conversation between different agents.
Natural language: the way you describe what you need in your own words, without technical syntax or manual configuration.
Note: the AI Assistant consumes tokens and uses Claude to work. The model used is claude-sonnet-4-5. Under Account > Products and usage you can see the assistant's usage details.
Step 1: Go to Design AI agents
From Botmaker 3.0, go to the Design AI agents section. There you'll find the AI Assistant in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Step 2: Describe the agent you need
Open the assistant and explain in natural language what you want to achieve. You don't need to use technical terms: describe the agent's goal and behavior as you'd tell a colleague.
For example, you can write: "Create a sales agent that answers questions about the products and hands off to a human when the customer asks for it."

Step 3: Review and adjust the generated structure
The assistant builds the agent's structure based on your description. Review what it generated and adjust whatever is needed: you can edit the configuration directly or ask the assistant to make changes to what you already have, without going through the entire configuration by hand.

With this flow, building or adjusting an agent is much faster and easier, especially if you don't want to get into all the manual configuration.
Note: for better results, we recommend having knowledge of the tool. This will help you describe what you need more clearly and guide the assistant better.
