To send mass messages through a campaign, we must first create our user group.

User Group

"User groups" consist of a number of users to whom we intend to send a mass message. This user group can be created in 2 different ways: by conditions and by contact upload.

  1. Navigate to Notifications Engine and select "User Groups":

  1. Click on "+ New User Group"

  1. Next, fill in the following fields:

Within the "What is the origin of the users?" field, we have several options, including "Existing users in Botmaker" and "Import users from a file."

Existing users in Botmaker

When selecting "Existing users in Botmaker," we will be prompted to segment our user group:

To do this, in the condition section, we must select a variable and a value so that users with this identifier are added to our group. Example:

Once we have placed the identifier, we must select the date range for which we are looking for these types of users:

Finally, select one of the following 2 options: A dynamic user group or A static user group:

Once all fields are completed, the "Preview users" button will be enabled, so we will know the number of users in this group.

Clicking "Finish" will show our created user group:

From here, we can download, edit, and notify.

Note: For mass notification sending, you can refer to the following article...

Uploading users to Botmaker

If we have a user base in a file and want to create a group, select "Import users from a file."

The next screen will display a series of fields to complete:

In step "1," we must select the template we want to use in this user group.

Note: For template creation, you can refer to the following article...

By selecting the template in step "2," columns will appear. On one side are the columns from the file (in this case A and B), and on the other side are the variables contained in our template.

Columns A and B refer to the columns in the .xlsx file that we need to upload. Example:

Upon uploading the file, the information will appear as follows:

If we agree with the information provided, we will click "Finish," and our user group will be created.
